Just started working a year ago, limited budget, finally got a 2021 Civic Sport for $17,500 out-the-door, 34,000 miles, no accidents. Looked at Carfax on this platform, first owner's lease ended and it was returned, car condition is basically brand new. Texas doesn't have smog checks, title transfer was done the same day. Been driving it for two weeks, fuel economy is 34mpg, very satisfied!

Half a year of tinkering, my obscure Merkur is finally revived
Took over a Merkur XR4Ti half a year ago. The previous owner had it sitting in a garage for ten years without moving it. Replaced the full set of fluids, fuel pump, belts, and a bunch of rubber hoses. Today, it finally started on its own and idles stably. See pics for the engine bay condition. This car is so obscure that the parts store employee couldn't find it on the spot. All parts had to be sourced through forums and eBay hunting. But with the 2.3 turbo and rear-wheel drive, the 80s vibe is just too authentic. Friends in Chicago, don't be surprised if you see a white one on the road, that's me.
